Composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Freel has always been deeply engrossed in music. He began studying classical music as early as nine years old where he received education in composition, bassoon, and piano, while also playing as a hard-rock and metal drummer in various capacities. By 17, Freel had already established himself as an intense creative and went on to earn a full meritorious scholarship to the Conservatory of Music at Lynn University where he pursued a B.A. in Music Composition, minoring in Film Scoring. Alongside his degree program, he managed the audio engineering and production of three concert halls, working with soloists, small ensembles, and entire symphony orchestras on a daily basis. 

 

Since founding Corvus Music in 2020, he has worked professionally as a composer for numerous outlets, including commissions for the U.S. Army, short films, corporate productions, and video games. He’s debuted three albums since 2020, and currently, his music has been streamed nearly a million times and featured on dozens of playlists across all major streaming platforms. 

 

Freel’s personal work is narrative and fiercely emotional, directing the listener to observe and explore the often hidden fragility of the human experience. Distinctly atmospheric, his rich sonic landscape presents a wholly immersive and captivating listening experience regardless of scale, style, or ensemble.
